Truly exquisite with so many design details we found ourselves saying ‘just love that’ over and over. Imagine reading a book in a room of mirrors, swimming outdoors in October in a heated pool, sitting in a jacuzzi which cycles through …
A dream location for our wedding!|We picked this amazing venue to host our wedding, we chose this from the internet and organised it all through email. I don’t even really have the words for how perfect it actually was! From entering via …
My wife and I stayed with the amazing folks at Villa Cora for our honeymoon in October. The whole property is absolutely stunning - the main hotel, the pool, the rooftop, the gardens. While the actual hotel is great, what sets Villa Cora …
Well worth every cent!! The staff is courteous and beyond helpful. Would suggest to anyone going to Florence. Top Notch! The only thing I would suggest is that you bring in your own "incidentals". A half bottle of Coke cost 10 Euros
We spent a week here and had a really relaxing stay. When we first arrived, the room we had, whilst very nice, was a little noisy as we could hear the people next door. ||We reported this to the hotel who bent over backwards to find us an …
Been to Florence many times and this hotel is definitely the best one we have stayed in so far. For me the location being just outside the centre yet only a 25 minute walk in could not be better. You have a country feel to the property and …
Hotel was nice, staff were generally nice. Check in starts at 2pm, we did the check in stuff at 11am, but the room wasn’t ready until around 2.30pm and had to wait in the bar area. When I mentioned this to the concierge, he didn’t seem to care. The outdoor pool is supposed to be heated, but no where near heated enough to be useable, and definitely not the temperature they claim to be—don’t go in on colder days. The dining service was also inattentive and the cooking careless. On many occasions, I had to pour my own wine (after being empty for more than 15 minutes) while the waiter just stared at me doing so. One dish had burnt elements on the dish. And another had a hair on it. In all, it was a pretty frustrating stay.
The opulence end grandeur of this hotel is sublime. Lovely grounds to explore (quite small though) and the state rooms in the main building are the real highlight.
Pool bistro has a small casual menu (walk in) but the evening menu is amazing. Being poolside has its pros and cons.
